Millwood has been rated Best In Missouri in 1998, 1999, 2000 and 2001 by Golf Digest with a remarkable 4½ stars.

Millwood offers a beautiful 18-hole championship Golf Course designed by Greg Martin which is nestled in the heart of the Ozarks in Springfield, Missouri. It is a distinguished family-oriented, full service private country club with a perfect combination of a most challenging course with a friendly club atmosphere. 

From the Championship tees, our slope rating , or degree of difficulty, is 134.  It is tough enough, but not too hard to scare the average golfer.  Composed of Zoysia fairways, Blue Grass/Fescue roughs and Crenshaw Creeping Bent grass greens, the course is strategically designed to include gently rolling, tree-lined terrain complemented by fairway and greenside bunkers, ponds and creeks. Elevation changes, clever curves and tight slopes. A challenging course which provides shot variety and beautiful views to make each round more enjoyable than the last.  Other amenities feature two swimming pools, tennis courts, locker rooms and practice facilities.
